Marleau to me is a non-starter, he brings nothing to the table that we don't have already for cheaper and similar. I would be much more in favor of attempting to bring Jumbo over than Marleau from the Sharks as he would easily be the perfect answer to our playmaking and center depth needs.
As for Leddy, I'd rather have Shaw, we have enough top 4 D and he would probably get the Ballard treatment from AV if he ever did wind up here in a hypothetical trade with Chicago (which I still can't ever see, being a hated rival).

Morgan Rielly on the team 1040 said he just got back from Leafs prospect camp...Don Taylor almost asked him if he was the only one there..
He waited until the interview was over and said it took all he had to not ask the question.

I agree, we need way more emoticons. WTF is going on here?
so does anyone really know who hockeyyinsiderr is? - IanEsplen
Either the greatest insider in the history of hockey or a fraud. That said, he has broken a few deals well in advance of the MSM, which will keep them coming back for more. He does have some sources though, that much is clear.

His twitter profile says that he lives in Montreal and has worked for four different NHL franchises. Maybe the guy that sells popcorn hears things?

I hear things. But the voices usually tell me to kill people. Not much hockey info unfortunately.
Ek=ESPN insider Scott Burnside
Hockeyinsider=ESPN insider EJ Hradek? - Bieksa#3
Who knows but he definitely seems to have beef with Dreger and cries a lot about MSM not giving him any "credit where credit is due." If those tweets gave a sound it would be a whining mule.
seems like him and burke take turns getting burned by each other - pandabk
Yeah, Colborne for Kaberle was a win for TO, but I think it was more Chiarelli feeling bad about the Kessel deal. Rask for Raycroft will haunt them for years to come.
Leafs fans in Augello's blog are making low-ball offers for Bernier, now. And they can't even use the age and contract excuses they were for Luongo.
It's amazing how sure they are that they can get quality players without giving up much in return. - Fosco
What is it now - Kulemin + a 3rd? Like most poker players they seem to always remember the big hands won and not the bad. Burke in his career as GM has won some big hands. TO fans seemed convinced he can do it every time.
