Yes, if they contact the ref and are insulting you can increase the ban or ask the admins to lengthen it, probably was the case here.

Thats hilarious and sad at the same time... the most entertaining guys get the longest bans....
- robin_steele264

I always thought that if Ek made it so that season ticket holders could see the posts that were deleted, he could sell a few more season tix.

That would be worth $3.99 a month.

Heck, I'd pay $19.99 just to see Beatle John's freak out just one more time.

That, my friends, was epic.

I know I'm a little late to the G.O.A.T. discussion, but I've always felt that hockey fans have been a little cheated in that respect.

We really don't get to have a good debate about it because, quite frankly, there's Gretzky and there's everybody else. I know that some people try to stir the pot, but the question isn't really whether Gretzky is or isn't the greatest, but whether or not he he the greatest athlete of all time (being the most dominant in his sport).

It's the same way with Federer, in my opinion. At this point, it's no longer a debate over the GOAT in tennis, it's a debate over where Federer ranks with the all-time great athletes (easily top 5, I'd think).

That's actually a good debate: who are the top 5/10 athletes of all time?

My top 5 would have to include Federer, Gretzky, Phelps in no particular order. You'd probably have to include an NFLer and basketball player in there somewhere, as well.

Which one? He had an epic one? ....more epic than the normal epic ones? How many paragraphs/pages did it span?

He went absolutely ballistic on Ek, because Ek was trying to get more season ticket subscribers.

Beatle John took great offence to it - claimed that Ek was a real (insert bad word here) for doing it during a recession, when so many people were losing their jobs.

And it went on for about 8-10 paragraphs. And it was hilarious.

I think it earned him a pretty long ban.

Best Hockey Player of all time?

Bobby Orr

The guy won scoring titles as a blueliner.

He did it with one knee, as his was torn to shreds on numerousd occasions.

If we had him healthy for the summit series of '72, the russians would have been lucky to win 2 games

Apparantly the FLA offer for Lu is:

Hubudreau, Versteeg, 1st & Clemmensen

With them already having Markstrom, the fact that they're in on this is weird.

Consider the fact that they also got very little for Lu in the first place, it's funny that they'd overpay to get him back

Absolutely stupid, and for a team that didn't have any problems keeping the puck out of their net last year.

Apparantly BBs latest offer was Kuli-Komi-1st.

A tad overpayment, and apparantly he's maybe thinking of increasing that bid
