Anybody else think this is the year Kadri makes the jump? - maverickJ
I think it would have to be....he makes it or he's gone in a trade.

You wouldn't be able to grab too much for him though if he can't make the jump again, no? |

This has to be his year to make the jump, if not this year, then i am not sure what to think about his future. - Prolific_Scorer
I really like the way we have developed him so far, I just hope all the extra pressure didn't ruin his confidence. I would say that if he doesn't crack it this year he probably won't be a leaf next year though. |

Kadri is anything, but lacking confidence IMO |

That's big bucks for someone you barely played in the playoffs, when it mattered. Albeit it was under a defensive style. |

Not at all, but I can see him being the type of player the Leafs trade for next to nothing and he turns out to be a solid NHL player. In my opinion he will be a 20-25 goal scorer and 50-60 points. A good second line winger. |

He could/should have made it last year. Just no patience.
He has to make it this year...however, some bodies will have also have to be cleared out to make space. |

Big over payment for a guy that has played only 81 games in the past 2 years..specially with his numbers last year.. |

If he doesn't make it this year, I would agree that it would be a mistake to trade him. His possible upside would be worth more than his trade value if I had to guess. |

He does come across as very confident in the interviews but if a top 10 pick with that much confidence is not cracking the line up for 3 years it probably hurt somewhere. |

So much for Phaneuf being overpaid. He's a better two way defenseman than Green will ever be and is making comparable money. |

Yeah that's a fair assesment. He could just be feigning confidence, didn't think of that. |

Yikes...you'd think with struggling teams etc that prices would start to be a little more reasonable and yet it seems more and more players are being overpaid! |

I wouldn't mind trying him at 1C, he isn't a 1C though I just would like to see it tried out. I really like that trade idea floating around for Mac, Scrivens and a 2nd for Halak Would it cost more? |

if JVR doesnt work out as a centre I dont know where Kadri fits in the lineup tho
if lupul bozak and kessel remain as the top line then you ware looking at a second line of JVR Grabovski MacArthur/Kulemin
unless of course both Mac and Kuli are dropped to the third line to play with McClement.. however I have my doubts on that possibility - Dozzer
I think either one of Kule/Mac gets traded. Thus allowing Kadri to step in. |

With Burke saying he dosnt expect the team to remain the same, you would have to think one/two of Kadri, Kulemin, Mac would be traded.... |
