Poor (frank)ing you, having to watch Flames games, if the flames played the russians, id cheer for the russians, in fact id cheer for the leafs over the (frank)ing flames, best part about watching the Flames in the next few years, is watching them lose consistently. - Prolific_Scorer
They just need a serious rebuild, yet keep insisting they kept the core of their '04 run and just need to make a few patches for a deep playoff run. They need to trade their vets at the deadline and rebuild. Juice said this before, "the worst part is that the fans are behind current management (it was something along those lines, correct me if I'm wrong).

i cant imagine how much money id have to shell out to see a leafs cup game, or banner raising...i mean were talking thousands here dude! - big_dion
Oh I'll absolutely always remember that game. I think I paid 200$ a piece for last row balcony for that game...well worth it. Yeah I know those tix in TO would be foolish. I'm still in college so getting together a few hundo for a hocke game is big chunk of change for me to shell out...so happy i did though.

I havent hated/loved a player playing with the Bruins so much since Neely, not that Lucic will ever reach those numbers, but still every team in the league would line up to get him. - Prolific_Scorer
Yup...I remember about 3-4 years ago I just hated him, hadn't built up any respect for him. All I knew was he was a wiener and stuck his tongue out after winning fights which made me hate him even more.
But as I've watched him more and more, he's probably my overall favourite player in that I hate him so much that I want him on my team.
I just find it funny how people read way too much into this. - Pecafan Fan
The reason leaf fans are putting a lot into this is simply because it's evidence that Kadri is putting in office effort to improving his game. Leaf fans already know the kid is loaded with talent and skill, his issue has always been his attitude and effort away from the game. This is evidence he's taking steps in the right direction.

5. Jun 22 2007: Leafs trade 2007 1st and 2nd round picks(both later traded to STL Lars Eller & Aaron Palushaj) and a 4th round pick in 2009 to San Jose for Vesa Toskala and Mark Bell
