Nothing is confirmed until camp but hes 19 and the captain of the Majors. He only played 40 games including the 1st round playoff exit because of a concussion. He should go back and own the OHL for another year. At least, thats what i would do.

I'd think given the amount of Marlies moving on they might keep him, since he could do either.

He'd likely get heavy minutes too, but ya he's only have 3 yrs Jr, should send him back for a 4th.

Can the Marlies play him...don't you have to be 20? Or does he turn 20 before the start of the AHL season or deadline or w.e?

Edit: nvm I'm in a Leafs blog, do you guys have the AHL or some other structure?

They have to be either 20 years old by Dec. 31 OR have played four years of junior in order to play in the AHL.

Percy is not eligible since he will be 20 in May 2013 and not having 4 years of Junior hockey.

No Boston was second in the league in scoring, if I'm not mistaken. It was just many games for Thomas would be 5-2, 6-2, so on and so forth, while Rask would struggle to win games 2-1, 2-1, or lose 3-1, 2-1. It seemed like most of the goals were scored for, while Thomas was in net, especially because Rask had a 2.05 GAA and had a a disproportionately lower W-L ratio.

yup I didn't look at his B-day, just assuming he would be old enough. realized after that he was drafted young... same as McKegg and Blacker.

Fall tough time (first 10-14 games) for the next 20-30 games unstoppable offense. Put up ike 6+goals 5 or 6 times in that period or something foolish and went like 25-3-2. First 14 games a lot of Rask, you're right, 20-30 a lot of thomas.

I will respectfully disagree, but it is true you can't bank on the fact that he will do well. He does although, have a stellar defense in front of him, which has to account for something. That makes me less anxious. I think he'll be a solid goalie. I like his style a lot. It's much more relaxed watching him in net than Thomas, who to be honest I thought at times is a very lucky goalie. Just my opinion though...take it for what it's worth.

of course, im not by any means going to slam you for your 2 cents, everyone is entitled to their own.

having a good D and system infront of a goalie is huge...its something we havnt had here in leaf land for quite some time...too long is how long, thats all u need to know! lol

Thomas is super lucky, he is like a hasek in some ways, just flops and rolls around and the puck just happens to hit him...luck is part of being a good goalie.

will be interesting to see how he handles the #1 spot this year.

Season three cast of GOT's is half done. Apparently their budget tripled. They also plan on breaking up the books into two season each from now on...aka WE WANT YO MUNEY BEACHES.

Overrated? hell no, if BB is overrated so is Sons Of Anarchy..... Some of the best shows in tv land period.
