You earned whatever words come your way. As I said you calling out Kane made an almost everyday reader out of me.
No Rocky can't get fired, but his business suffers instead. If he digs 1st round exits and paying bums millions to play in Rockford and ending up in the red at years end he gets what he deserves.
Rocky is a good business man, outside of hockey? I'll take your word for it. But my eyes see a team that was more talented than any in the NHL fall to one that players want to leave from, players don't want to come to and exit in the 1st round. And got rid of the guy who assembled the cup winning team and have him assemble another one in two years that ranks at the top of organizational rankings!! Not quite the perfect analogy but that's near trading Branch Rickey.
Rocky knows where bodies are buried? Yea they are running Florida and Montreal. He buried the wrong ones and backed 4-5-6-7 of the wrong horses.
Rocky will clean house? Don't know if he has the acumen to make the right decisions and if I'm going by history I'm sure he doesn't until he proves otherwise. - Mr Ricochet
If you and I can see the rationale, believe me he can—and my information is, he does. There are dollars and reputations and likely attorneys involved, but he will in all likelihood do what needs to be done at an opportune time, that's assuming nothing improves fairly dramatically.

Just something to LOL:
Bickell had pretty much the same hits as:
Kronwall, Morrow, Oshie.
Uhmmmmmmm ok?
Matt Martin had almost 400 hits. Damn. Can't be that much to get him can it?

A little bit of the Score comes out of him when he spot-hosts. But Hawk Harrelson is the biggest dooosh. I wish he and Marriotti could've had a steel cage match, fight to the death because there's a slight chance we would've been spared one, or both. - eburgio
Does Marriotti have a job at this point? |

I hear he's had a lot of personal, legal issues of late. |

Fatty,
Where does he have 4 years of CHL service? If you're including the 4 game stint in '08-'09, that doesn't count as a full season of service according to CHL rules.
As of right now, McNeill would need either four seasons of service time in the CHL or be the age of 20 by 12/31/12.
He won't have enough service time nor be old enough by that date, so he will either have to make the big club or go back to junior. Same with Danault.
McNeill also confirmed this himself when I was chatting with him in the autograph line this spring. - EKolb13
4 games dont count? oops haha |

Can Moen score? Foligno...everyone is waiting, kinda like Stewart. Hartnell for sure. I would love him if he were on my team, but I can't stand him now. Horton...as in Nathan Horton? - eburgio

If it's privately held, no........ But that didn't stop Crains Business Weekly from doing a story after the Hawks won the cup that they lost money that year!
Was that Rocky leaking what he wanted known, or something else? |

HA. Grasping at straws, I know. For the time being, we should move our discussions to Obamacare, our Foreign policy, and the Khardashians |

As JJ and others have pointed out literally hundreds of times...a top 6 forward DOES NOT NEED TO SCORE TO BE EFFECTIVE! |

Ok dude, I get it. i've read enough on here to understand that. The discussion was Clowe and Lucic vs...who? Both of those guys put up 50 points a year. Same for Hartnell. I'm just trying to compare apples to apples. So who are CLowe/Lucic like players that bring the nastiness and can also score. See what I'm doing here? |

Especially with the scoring talent they already have. They need someone who can help maintain possession in the offensive zone and go to the net. That makes all of the forwards better.

I think the complementary, physical space creator guy you describe needs to have hockey sense and instinct and hands to keep the play going, pass and score occasionally. But he should not be measured merely or primarily by points.

The points will come from skating with the likes of a Toews, Kane, Sharp, Hossa ect.
As long as they can get a player that will create space and draw some of the liberties other players take own star players, the point totals for a player like that could go up just by accident.
Carcillo could have possibly had a 30 point season just by skating with Hossa, Kane and Toews if he hadn't blown out his knee. |

This has been the crappiest off season I've experienced in sometime. Just a bunch of BLAH all around the league. The Blackhawks inactivity has been excruciatingly painful. But I hold out hope for something.................................. |

I hope that you're right JJ.
If he waits too long to do something he takes a chance on losing guys like Toews in the long run. And that would be a very very bad thing for this organization.

So a 19 year old wing who was taken in the second round last year and has never done one single thing to indicate he can make it as a pro this year is requesting to be a center, after the desperate, Adam Dunn of GM strikeouts Stan Bowman says he could crack the top 6 this year.
Anyone buying this, much less those saying it, need to have their head examined immediately. - John Jaeckel
I totally agree.
I think the only ones buying it are Stan and Saad. I sure hope Q isn't on board with this. That rumor about Bolland being dangled as trade bait for Luongo (if true) made me start to connect the dots, and I hope it's wrong, but something is rotten in Denmark. |

Who started this whole Bolland for Luongo deal? That's just ridiculous. I've never read that here and if someone says HockeyInsiderr posted it, I'll puke |

Kruger or Danault are more likely to play C on this team than Saad is, believe me. |

If I'm not mistaken, it came from the Vancouver media. |
