Don't believe the lame stream media.real Canucks fans don't hate Bobby Luo.we know he's a world class goalie despite hawks bloggers who harp on him being supposedly mentally weak.gillis knows he's a legit number one in this league and anyone who wants him should pay the price. - kaptaan
I have always defended Lou on the TSN site for years!Always get a resounding thumbs down from the fans there when I do!And I garantee their are more nucks then hawks there! |

I'm one of the few Canucks fans who would entertain a Kesler trade and I would take Sharp in a heartbeat. Lu+Kesler for Sharp+Leddy+Crawford+1st - 1970vintage

Sharp's NTC just kicked in. Don't count on him moving. |

That didn't stop us from shelling out for Hossa. - 1goalLordStanley
I guess I can see your point. That's another $5 million in salary you're talking about adding. |

Actually, Florida probably has the best prospect pool in the NHL. They have a very bright future. - hertzman
Prospects don't win cups...teams deep in NHL talent do.
I don't see them keeping anything together long enough to build a winner...
...then again, I could be wrong. Afterall, Tampa won. |

The proposal had Sharp going the other way so that wouldn't matter. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't do that trade either, with or without Sharp's NTC. |

In order to get Kesler, you'd have to trade just about equal salary and talent, if it's a package with Luongo in it. |

You guys commented on this?? As noted...the Hawks are thin @ center and our going to give up Bolland (with 2 years left on his contract that great value in this market) for LU.
Holy Sh!!TT. Gillis makes that move in a nanosecond!! Bowman would be DONE with an assine move like this.
Who is the tool who dreamed this up!?!

Stan must have his sights set on Saad at center this season.

I saw that at prohockeytalk.com as well.
I'm for getting Lu, but that seems nutz to me. Thought we were thin at center? |

I don't get it Bogie...if true it's a head scratcher.
Go down the roster and find the deutsche banks...
...who fits the description?
...who is so awful that players would rather play for the Blues?!? or Sabres?!? - ArlingtonRob
That's why I said earlier, "$$$ talks, bull$hit (SB) walks."
This is about a GM & comittee trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip.
This is about a GM and an assbag of a "Prez" f(u)cking things up beyond all recognition: FUBAR |

Agreed. I'd really love to see this stuff addressed. Watch any of the video or interviews from the cup team. They had CHEMISTRY! We need that back. Maybe if the guys like coming to the locker room every day, they'll quit mailing it in.
And if the front office or the coaching staff is the problem, then its time to clean house. JMO. - fourfeathers
Agreed. But there were rumors that the Cup team had issues but being so good and winning covered that stuff up. But they did always seem to joke around but it seems like there were cliques. Brouwer and fraser were really close. Buff and kane. Obviously kane was close to versteeg and madden |

Saad at center? Whaaaa? - ArlingtonRob
Didn't Stan ask him to play center at prospects camp last week as an experiment? Or maybe it was Saad's request, but either way, it happened, and Bowman was already talking to the media about it being up to Q if he plays some center at training camp. Just trying to rationalize why we would offer Bolland in a trade. |

I've finally figured out the domino waiting to fall with Bowman. McD doesn't want to get overshadowed by his former employer, the Cubs, so he's waiting for Dempster and/or Garza to be moved first before he can make a news splash. |

One doesn't trade one of the best 3C playoff guys to a team - whose GM is under the gun - whose goalie is a 4-time playoff CHOKE. |

If VAN goes into the season with both Schneider and Luongo, it'll be interesting to see how Corey handles a bad game or two, with Roberto lurking on the bench.
I think VAN really wants to get Luongo gone before the start of the season. There are enough fragile egos wearing the Orca already. Best not to have the 'Sword of Damocles' hanging above your young netminder. |
