Question to those that went to prospect camp.......
Just saw an article by Jesse Rogers saying that TT and Saad impressed at prospects camp. I know TT looked the best out of all of them, but I have heard that Saad just looked mediocre. Sounds like this has some PR spin to it. Trying to prepare us for the line that "we have many prospects in the system ready to make the jump, our team is set" ??
From the short stint Saad had here, he didn't do anything to hurt the team, but he never really stood out either. Lots of hype for this kid, a lil way too much hype if you ask me.
And I quote:
Florida hasn’t been the most interested team recently involved in trade talks with the Canucks. It’s been the Chicago Blackhawks, who have been mulling over the idea and have had conversations with Vancouver. They even reportedly dangled one of Vancouver’s arch-enemies, Dave Bolland, to the crew over at Rogers Arena.
Have a great day all! At least I didn't waste away in front of the computer yesterday and got some greek food yesterday at the festival here in Duluth. No Dancing Zorba's but better than anything around here

It can only mean two things :
1. The Blackhawks are preparing us for Saad to be with the team right away or
2. The Blackhawks think media will actually have an impact on trade value, which is retarded.

Yea, I saw that, the Hawks are really short on centers . Cant see Bolland being moved without getting a real center in the fold first.

TT was without a doubt the best player out there. Saad looked ok but I thought that he should have dominated the camp and at least the day I was there he did not and with the size advantage he had he should have. Bowman of all people was standing right behind me hyping Saad to one of his buddies.

I concur. TT was the standout, Saad was just there.
Ogilthorpe2 Season Ticket Holder Chicago Blackhawks
I was at camp on Friday and Saad was dominant. He scored 2 goals and pretty much controlled the corners. Whenever he wanted to get to the net he was able to . Even with 10 seconds to go in the scrimmage and his team trailing by a goal , he managed to take it end to end , beat the d-man around the edge and get off a quality back-hander at the buzzer. he has gotten bigger from last camp and should be an offensive contributed this year with the big club. Danault was busting but all over, McNeill was invisible. Clendening looked very good as well as Gleason on defense. The other d-man who could get to the show is Dahlberg. He has decent size and can move the puck. Teuvo (sp) looked very shifty and just needs to grow up. He reminds me of Savvy. The kid from the Air FOrce looked good too but he is already 23. 1st post , hope it is helpful.

Good moning Ian.
I don't buy that Bowman has dangled Bolland in a Luongo deal. Seems like a bunch of crap to me.

I don't think anyone buys into that Hockeyy Insiderr clown's crap. It's posted here for pure entertainment.
