Fans are mad LA won and I love it. No fan likes LA teams.

NJ fans dislike the fact that they gave LA its first championship and then lost their franchise player. What an awesome year for the NHL and NJ fans

there was this funny flyers poster i believe it was on nhl.com where he was going oh yeah we just kicked your ass we are the champions, cool you piggy back on other teams good for you

then his next argument was the devils suck philly and the kings are much better

last time i checked, philly 2 cups, kings 1.......devils 3, you add up their teams cups you equal the devils and the devils have won it playing 25+years less then those teams combined but whatever, its just funny

im not bitter no one expected the devils to get to the finals let alone past the 2nd round so i have no reason to be better

and i was at game 7 of the 03 cup, just like i was at every home playoff game and remember all of it

Gaborik 105 goals in 220 games for the Rangers. Over the last 3 years he's been one of the top goal scorers in the league.

It's pretty silly to put him with the other guys.

Yeah but Gaborik is made of glass and therefore not worth the price tag. Not really arguing the stats but just saying, imagine a healthy Gaborik? Scoring 105 goals in 220 equals to 39 goals/season. Still worth 7.5M? Pass.

I like Doan but 7.5 million a year cap hit is steep. Add in the fact that he's not a spring chicken and whoever this team is must be pretty desperate.

Ive been saying this since I heard it.

This has Sather and NYR written all over it. Sather has a history of giving out bigger overpaid contracts and they have been looking to add scoring. Doan fits their style of play and they have been looking into him. Gaborik is out until around December and will need immediate scoring help.

They are probably fed up with the asking price for Nash and Ryan
