Meh, Leaf fans are pissed. Stammer's too one-dimensional... too much offense... basically another Kessel with a few more points.

I thought that was Gardiner? I guess Rielly will have to settle for Ray Bourque.

The NHL's reported initial CBA proposal suggests that the players should reduce their share of the revenues to 46%, down from 57%.
The NHL also wants five-year entry-level contracts, an elimination of salary arbitration, no contracts in excess of five years, and players to spend 10 years in the NHL before their eligible to become unrestricted free agents. As big as those changes are, keep in mind that this is only a first offer. The NHL and NHLPA have a lot of negotiating ahead of them and it's not surprising that the league would ask for far more than their likely to get.

depends what your fishing for. Jigging works good once you find a hole. But if they aren't active trolling with spinners and minnows (Ontario) cannot be beat. I won't show you my set-up because I'm selfish

Owners are (frank)ed with what they first sent. They got what they wanted from the first one and now they want more. Now we'll get to hold a lottery for Mackinnon... Too bad Pittsburgh hasn't threatened to move lately. Looks like Phoenix will get him.

If it wasn't that for the league conspiracy against the Leafs, they might have a shot.

I have fished Lake of the Woods using spinners (Little Joes) and live minnows, probably some of the best Walleye fishing I've ever had.

yeah for sure but we've been fishing that lake for several years now, have spots for each different kind of wind direction so we usually drift back and forth or just slowly troll while jigging the bottom.

we actually weren't doing too hot this year until the morning of our last day, we hit paydirt with one spot, getting one in the boat each pass and a keeper every other pass.

I've never been lucky with spinners and when I troll I usually go for either an rapala XR-10 or their rattling glass minnow (forget the number, I lost it this year in some silly incident).

the XR-10 usually nabs a couple walleye each trip and gives me some good chances of a nice fight with a pike when we go from one spot to another.

It takes more technique down south i'm sure. Up North here there is so many walleye lakes and not alot of people that the fishing is good everywhere. I never have to get overly creative.

I've been fishing Lake Sturgeon this summer. Only caught three. One at 23lbs amazing fight. Then I fish Lake Trout in the winter.

Not a big variety of fish species this far North. Musky only run as far North as Lake Nipissing. Would love to catch a big one of those
