Franson is obviously a legit top 6, a quasi top 4 on some teams. But he's simply not going I displace anyone on our top 6 currently. Say what PI want about Ballard, he's just overpaid, and that's all people see. He's a solid Dman

Ridiculous these contracts. Ballard is still overpaid, he's hat no longer GROSSLY overpaid. The fact some Eastern team offered Doan 4 years at north of $30 mill is a joke. We'll see if he really wants to win, because I have a strong feeling that offer was from a team that's not close to being a Cup contender. Those are 4 guaranteed cap affected years. Brutal!

Most experts say the NHL wants a delay for financial reasons same as the NBA, but I have faith it will start on time. HNIC Ron McLean said he would be suprised if it was delayed by a strike. Who knows more than Ron McL. He is like a hockey God isn't he?
