Van fans are delusional!
Weber will NEVER play for the Canucks as long as Kesler, Burrows and Lapierre are on that team. He hates them all. Most of all Kesler. Just because he is from the interior of BC does not mean he wants to play for the Canucks ever. I've heard it from his mouth!

- Iggysbff

Then trade Kesler, Burrows and Lappy to NSH for Weber.

Loser's response. What's truly comical is comparing winning a league title to winning the cup. Leafs fans didn't bring up the cup debate.

Almost as stupid as saying Franson is a top 4 d man in Vancouver. Yet he can't crack the leafs line up

Aside from playing with Leafs trolls, check out this from the league's new CBA position:

Renaud P Lavoie ‏@RenLavoieRDS
NHL proposal to players: 1-reduce players hockey related revenues to 46% from 57 %. 2-10 seasons in NHL before being UFA.

Renaud P Lavoie ‏@RenLavoieRDS
3-contracts limites to 5 years 4-no more salary arbitration. 5- entry-level contract 5 years instead of 3.

I can see them getting some variation of #3 and maybe #4, but #5 is unlikely and #1 and #2 they're out lunch if they think they're getting anywhere near that. Just how greedy are the owners? Fcuk me.

Twist the facts all you want, they are right in front of you. You said the Millionares winning the PCHA is the same as winning the cup. You failed miserably. Crawl back to your hole with your tail between your legs.
- burn

Listen troll boy, look up facts.

When was the NHL formed?
What western teams played in this National league and for how many years in the span of 1917 to 1970?
Then ask yourself is this really a national league or is it East Coast hockey?

Then I advise you to read west coast hockey history.

See how important your victories are then.

You expect West coast teams or cities to win a Cup in a league they didn't play in

Then look up the definition of stupid .See if your picture is there.

The palyers got their asses kicked last CBA.They are a horrible bunch of misfists standing to fight for their cause. They should accept it and realize that agents and GMs will find loopholes around it to get them more money than Hugh Hefner.

Yeah I do since they competed for the cup you simpleton. You much clearer can it be. You are wrong

In 1915, the two professional ice hockey organizations, the National Hockey Association (NHA) and the Pacific Coast Hockey Association (PCHA), reached a gentlemen's agreement in which their respective champions would face each other for the Stanley Cup.

Year Winning team Coach Losing team Coach Games Winning goal
1915 Vancouver Millionaires (PCHA) Frank Patrick Ottawa Senators (NHA) Frank Shaughnessy (mgr.) 3–0 Barney Stanley (5:30, second)
1916 Montreal Canadiens (NHA) Newsy Lalonde Portland Rosebuds (PCHA) Edward Savage (mgr.) 3–2 George Prodgers (17:20, third)
1917 Seattle Metropolitans (PCHA) Pete Muldoon Montreal Canadiens (NHA) Newsy Lalonde 3–1 Bernie Morris (7:55, first)
1918 Toronto[19] (NHL) Richard Carroll Vancouver Millionaires (PCHA) Frank Patrick 3–2 Corb Denneny (10:30, third)
1919 Montreal Canadiens (NHL) vs. Seattle Metropolitans (PCHA) – Series cancelled after the fifth game because of the flu epidemic – Stanley Cup not awarded
1920 Ottawa Senators (NHL) Pete Green Seattle Metropolitans (PCHA) Pete Muldoon 3–2 Jack Darragh (5:00, third)
1921 Ottawa Senators (NHL) Pete Green Vancouver Millionaires (PCHA) Lloyd Cook & Frank Patrick 3–2 Jack Darragh (9:40, second)
1922 Toronto St. Pats (NHL) George O'Donoghue Vancouver Millionaires (PCHA) Lloyd Cook & Frank Patrick 3–2 Babe Dye (4:20, first)
1923 Ottawa Senators (NHL) Pete Green Edmonton Eskimos (WCHL) Ken McKenzine 2–0 Punch Broadbent (11:23, first)
1924 Montreal Canadiens (NHL) Léo Dandurand Calgary Tigers (WCHL) Eddie Oatman 2–0 Howie Morenz (4:55, first)
1925 Victoria Cougars (WCHL) Lester Patrick Montreal Canadiens (NHL) Léo Dandurand 3–1 Gizzy Hart (2:35, second)
1926 Montreal Maroons (NHL) Eddie Gerard Victoria Cougars (WHL) Lester Patrick 3–1 Nels Stewart (2:50, second)

Notice how a western team is involved every year. How on Earth would one expect the west team to win the cup if they didn't play for it.... oh right they did.

I advise you to check the definition for your picture.

How many cups did Leafs win prior to 1917 . Zero . Why ?Because there was no Leaf team . The same reason we did not win a cup in the East coast league prior to 1970.

You can 't be that dumb . Since expansion and European players entered the league to make it a true National game and not an ECL Leafs 0 Van 0 so STFU and stop bagging about cups you won where no one else competed for them.

Donald Fehr was brought in to tell the NHL to (frank) off with these type of deals. The PA won't give in this time. The NHL cannot afford another lockout.

When they went head to head the TOR Blue shirts won in 1914 and Van won 1915

That makes it 1-1 not 13-0

When the NHL was formed in 1917 from 1917 to 1967 the Leaf won 13 in a 6 team east coast league .I will repeat this and please try to pay attention the Canucks did not play in this league. How can we win a cup if we are not part of it ?

Vancouver had a team from 1911-1926

Victoria also won and Torono St Pats and Toronto Arenas. So technichally it was TOR 3-2 over Van/Vic

The Illustrious leafs won all their cups after 1932 when there was no West Coast teams.

Not awesome, just better then a 7-8 d man on one of the worst teams in the league. You can make up how good your prospects are all you want. But the fact is that Franson couldn't crack the line up of one of the worst defensive teams in hockey. But everybody has an opinion, just some arent right too often. Right Burn
