last i checked erixon was ranked a better prospect than miller. iirc, erixon was ranked as the 6th best prospect in the entire NHL at one point and was consistently ranked better than kreider. i don't think it's a stretch to say some teams would rather have erixon over miller.

He is under an ELC currently which would transfer with him when and if dealt. He could hold out but it wouldn't benefit him in the least. In fact he would be subject to fines as would Nash if he were to hold out.
