So did I.. does he have explosive skating? Nope, but I also saw him use his speed to get outside and drive passed guys... - jak521
Coots was more than could be expected last year and will only get better with experience.
One area even he admits needs work is on his skating. He did show a strong stride but is working on his initial burst.
The Hockey News labeled him an "ugly skater" in their draft preview. I would necessarily go that far but he is not what I would call fluid at this point. Perhaps once he matures and his legs catch up with his size, that will be a non-issue.
There is no way Pronger plays again. It would be stupid for him to try he gains nothing by playing again. I like both Gus and MAB, my concern with MAB is his head it gets easier and easier to get concussions.

It started from some radio station in Phoenix and is now all over Twitter. - bradleyc4
Yeah I am seeing it now. There is no way in hell that is a legitimate story. An over 35 deal at 7+per. If there is a snowballs chance in hell that the Flyers are making this offer, I will be at skate zone tomorrow with a pitchfork and torch.

7.5 million cap hit?
I dont believe that for a second. The joys of twitter obviously. For fun I should make an account and start a rumor that Giroux broke a leg in a boating accident. Watch how that story would spread.
