Knows a little? I'm not a Howard Eskin fan. But you have to respect his 25 years in Sport Talk Radio. As well as being a TV personality, as well as a newspaper columnist. And he made millions doing it. You don't have a career in Sports commentary as long as he has without knowing Sports. Whether you like him or not.

I'm a big Hockey fan. I couldn't name 3/4 of the Calgary Flames roster without looking it up.

And just so were clear, you can take every word I've said here literally.

Actually, as you can tell, I don't respect him. Howard and Angelo have developed these on air personalties where sports is secondary and entertainment comes first. His gimmick is to be pompous and insulting. To simply call him a journalist is highly innacurate. He hosted a radio show where he provided "analysis" and offered opinions. While I can't say I have listened to him more than a half dozen times, it didn't take much to see through his little act.

As with anything, that will draw some fans, and if you enjoy that sort of thing, go for it! He's the man!
