Just basically the same stats as posted in Garth's blog.. He is a try out for the camp just like Freddy Roy.

he is a 6 ft 205 lb LWer..

I can't see why he wouldn't be a great depth asset to have in Rochester..

I think Rochester has been completely retooled from last season to this.. I think the organizational lack of depth was CLEARLY exposed last year.

He had a nice D-Camp, but I doubt you will here from him again. He is a longshot to make the AHL.

Is there a way that we can keep his rights but place him in the ECHL or anything of that sort??

I think the same could go for Freddy Roy.. I would love to keep his rights but I'm sure some other team could give him an AHL spot where as we might not be able to.

The only thing I see is he is an undrafted 21 year old LW, 6'0 206lb who played last year for Mississauga in the OHL, had 31g and 17a in 59g.

Maybe the Sabres will offer him and Roy an EL contract,

I'm trying to get an accurate count of current contracts but work blocks alot of the good sites for that info.

Maybe not. The could always just sign them to an AHL deal to keep them around the organization. If things work out, or a need arises, sign the 2-way deal later in the season, a la Joe Finley last year.

I count 43, add in Ennis and Kaleta and that makes it 45.

I just wish Grigorenko, Armia, and Girgensons could all be there this year too.

Grigs is too young.. and Armia is the army and 1 more year with Jokerit.
