He's an awkward dude, there's no doubt. It sounds like one long stumble at times but if you like hockey talk like I do, complaining misses the point.

I don't hink Grigorenko is quite ready for the NHL....He needs to put on some weight and get used to the physical style of the game here. I'd give him 1 year in Rochester if thats an option.

Well thats what I am saying.. I know they have already signed him to his ELC... but my point was I don't think that they would have even offered it as an option to him unless they thought he could make an impact..

We will see what the kid can do come preseason games . Lindy usually playes all the kids to get them used to a nhl game . and see what they got

I think they signed him because they know he is ready to play professional hockey, whether it is in here in Rochester or up in Buffalo. The simple fact that there is nowhere to improve and develop in Vermont as opposed to being able to play and train with professionals and actual competition is most likely the reason he chose to forgo Vermont (my opinion). Lindy commented that he had a body and skillset to play professionally right now... so they want to develop him at a professional pace. Zemgus seems like a guy who wants a challenge, its in his character. Big fan of that!

I'm excited... this kid adds grit to this team.. he showed offensive awareness at the camp.. and he is a young Center to push Hodge and Ennis even harder..

I think this kid should be given the right to be our 3C.. if he becomes it... is up to him.
