Well first off, you went to MLHS, those guys don't know their ass from their elbow, haha.

Zigomanis took most of the draws on that line, Kadri took some of the draws on the PP.

Hey now, their original content is miles ahead of HockeyBuzz. Forums? Not so much. Love you guys.

Yeah it would be cool to be able to put on a Providence Bruins game every once in a while. Especially on a night when the Bruins aren't playing.
- celata29

I wouldn't get too jealous.

The Marlies' broadcasts look like a high school media project. They don't turn on the tv lights (I don't think they actually have them at the Ricoh), so it's not great TV to watch.

And with that post, we can confirm celata29 is not married.

They use the same team as Rogers Cable 10 broadcasts, most of them are interns learning the craft, so that is what you get.

A few people suggesting Kadri could be Leafs answer at centre. He should get NHL role, but Marlies didn't use him down middle a whole lot.

- Pecafan Fan

Yea they did..........

He is a guy you can slide in if you need to, for instance, you can use him on the PP with Lupul and Kessel, he does have pretty good vision on the ice.

wouldn't you say his best games as a marlie were down the middle?
for whatever reason he seemed more physical and involved.......

Yea. You can tell he prefers it a ton. It gives him more room and options. Unless Mirtle is talking about how he was a W last year for Marlies and then a C this year.... I have no idea what he's talking about.

he still has a ton of potential and think 2nd line centre would be my projection.

So we won the JVR/Schenn trade?

Awesome.

- Atomic Wedgie

No

There is a Leafs Clause... The player Toronto acquires automatically becomes less valuable and therefor a bust, and the player Toronto traded is now a solid player with unlimited potential.

It would work the same if the leafs traded Reimer for Bernier

Honestly though, I think the biggest thing is the lack of TV lights. The whole thing looks dim, and at that point, it's hard to be objective on the overall quality.

One of my teams used to play at the Ricoh. Man, it was dark. If someone wrapped a puck off the glass to get it out, 99 times out of 100 you would lose the puck against the dark seats. It was terrifying as a defenceman - you'd be tracking it, tracking it, tracking it, OH CRAP IT'S GONE, GOTTA DUCK!

Our goalie kept on telling us to throw any dump in 12 feet in the air, at the opposition goalie. He swore we would eventually score (we never did).

MLS is terriblw. The quality of play is poor. I thought the Americans would do a good job of it after 94 but they didn't. To see the game being played on an American Football field with all those yard lnes is amateur.

Me neither and he flat out said no to me when I asked if he was used exclusively at center (which is probably not correct), but didn't respond when I asked whether the majority was spent at C or not.

You'd think with the "every games a tryout" marketing push they'd spend half that advertising budget on new lights.

He wasn't an exclusive center, no. Him and Zigo mixed it up, depending on the faceoff and situation. But more or less Dallas has flat out said that they wanted to move Naz back to the middle slowly and return him to a center position after easing him in as a winger.

you know what would happen there right?
exactly, Riemer for vezina and Bernier a bust....it's just the Maple Leaf way.

It is very dark, they never put in proper TV lights, it almost has a grey dim tone to the building when watching a game there, maybe they fix it this year.
