Pay was commission based... the base pay was I think around 28000.. and some guys were raking in a couple hundred grand. It involved alot of cold calling... I hadn't been doing it long enough to give you a real understanding... but the training was pretty extensive.

If you are comfortable with cold calling... and possibly not making too much money the first couple years... then its defintely something to consider... essentially you are just a glorified salesman.

A little... but I think its different for a few reasons.... its a 1 year deal... its a contract I think he felt was one where Anaheim was desperate for his services and only agreed to sign if Anaheim was going to be "competitve" this year.

He still had 66 points... 16 more than Doan.

I still think Doan will be in the 5-5.5 mark and will end up being "over-paid" because he is pretty much the only premier UFA left (Semin aside).. and seems pretty keen on staying in Phoenix. So I see him only leaving Phoenix if there is still question whether they may re-locate soon and/or if some team offers him a 6 million + deal for 2 years... or 5-5.5 for 3 years.
