My brother owns this t-shirt:

On a related note, I don't think Everton's doing anything this year but hovering around 7th place again.

Not all of us. There were quite a few people in here saying things like "I hope they merely tweak the team," or "I hope they stand pat," etc.

Im good with a tweak. Still shocked it's happening

Here's a tee design I did for the brand AND1 last summer:

It was a total bite off of NIKE's basketball tee/apparel campaign.

Yep, based on the plan that Romney created in Massachusetts.

I figured lilja would've been traded for a pick or minor leaguer by now.

Especially because the Flyers have Matt Walker just in case. Last summer he looked good and had a chance to make the club.

Interesting.

Quite frankly, I could create more jobs than both those jabronis combined.

But then again, most people are ignorant on such matters.

I think a snowball had a better chance in hell then Matt Walker making the team last year. Walker for a 7th at 1.7M or Lilja, at 700K? Choice seems easy.

No way. Homer said he was looking good. He has to be the reason the Flyers were willing to move on from Carle this year.

“This was a move to solidify our defense,” said Holmgren. “Matt Walker is a right shot defenseman that we like; he brings size, grit and toughness to our backend."

Romney's not interested in creating jobs, just putting money in his pocket. Obama lacks the stones to push through his agenda. Either way, it's watered down Top Ramen soup.

Just depends which corporations you want to have in charge.

It would have been funny had Holmgren just said, Tampa Bay couldn't pay all of Gagne's salary so we had to take this meatball off their hands.

I can't believe this guy isn't good enough to steal the #6 spot on this team. He doesn't hurt b/c his money comes off the cap but if he could play it would really help the Flyers out.

That's what we have now, though.

The House voted for the 34th( I think it was the 34th) time to repeal the Health Care Initiative. It can't pass in the Senate, but it was again voted on. This is what our representatives do, rather than pass legislation that might help, because it might help the other side's prospects in November.

People are more uninformed than any time in my lifetime and there's so much partisan crap that nothing gets done easily. It will take a principled person, with a set of brass balls to fix the issues, but we get Obama and Romney. No balls and no principles.

He'd be fine if the clutch and grab era ever returned. He managed to be a FA when Len Barrie and Oren Koules were tossing insane cash at anyone who ever played a decent shift in their lives on a good team.

Do you really think Romney is making money by running?

We know people in office that nearly went bankrupt running for Senate.

On the flip, I am sure Obama's royalties from his book sales went way up after being elected (and while running). Kind of an awkward statement.

To be blunt, Romney would be much better at creating jobs. Plans presented by Camp, Simpson, and Bowles would finally gain traction. Privately, dems and republicans support these plans.
