i think you guys should trade gagner. if it wasn't for that 8 point game he would've finished with 39 points and after 5 seasons he hasn't broken 50 points yet. yea you guys have been pretty ass but i don't think this guy has THAT much potential and i feel like no team fears the guy when he's on the ice.
don't make the same mistake we did with dubinsky. trade the guy while he still has value before you're stuck with an inconsistent "all heart" player.
i will admit that i don't watch many oilers games but i have seen a few and i don't really see what the big deal about him is. you guys definately need that size since your top 6 are all young small kids. |

Gagner's all around game has improved every year since his rookie season. He's been a consistant 40 to 50 point scorer. Gagner was a plus player for the first time in his career, which is impressive considering the Oilers were a terrible team.
All the Gagner haters want Gagner gone because he isn't some big hulking man. |

Mueller was signed by the Florida Panthers 1 year $1.75 Million!! Steal and a great gamble for Florida!! WAY TO GO TAMBO and KLowe!! Another missed opportunity!! |

yea i guess i don't watch him enough to really pass the verdict but i was just comparing his numbers to stepan who's a great 2nd line center imo and stepan has been in the league for only 2 years and has broken 50 points while gagne has been in longer and hasn't. but then again, stepan has played in all 82 games each season and has played for a winning team. |

Where exactly would he play? Why add another winger? |

Gagner was rushed into the NHL at 18 which IMO has slowed his development. |

Why all this love for a very inconsistant Mueller? A player who rivals Hemsky in the injury department. |

he's got a lot of talent but yea he's injury prone. if he can stay healthy, then that contract is a steal for florida. |

He doesn't play center. Mueller took a whole 10 faceoffs last year and all of a sudden he's worth a gamble. He's 2 inches taller and 5 lbs heavier than Gagner.

I would only be open to trading Gagner if it means a Top 4 D came back.
Gagner, for his age especially, is developing well. The stats state that. |

$1.75 million Why NOT gamble?? It isn't like he is 37 (Arnott) or gonna cost much!! No prospects have to go no roster players needed to be moved! |

TSN lists him as a LW/RW...
It still doesn't change the fact that he took only 10 faceoffs last season. Which tells me he's not really a center. |

Moot point now as he is signed! But adding a C/LW/RW doesn't hurt if anything it helps in having a more durable and productive player in the lineup! I would also assume it was because he was coming off injury and only played 32 games also behind Duchesne and Statsny! He is a player that NEEDS to be in a top 6 role! So was played on the wings in Colorado |

I dont remember the last time a team kept a 4th line center for 4+ years.
Ill save judgement for where Pitlicks best suited when he actually makes the Oilers - mochoson
Well he can't play center at the AHL level so what does that tell you? |

I really hope Tambellini isn't wasting his time looking at players like Mueller. Especially when he should be out there looking for one more capable d-man. |

As I mentioned before Spacek and Coliaccavio MAYBE Jurcina! Missing Mueller is a missed opportunity that would have been as easy sell and a safe bet! |

Ok who do you bump out of a top six roll...
Hall, RNH, Eberle, Yakupov, Gagner, Hemsky ? |
