Bozak was signed out of University 2 years ago and has been our 1C ever since...others have been tried at 1C, but Bozak has retained the position....wouldn't it be nice after 2 more seasons with him at 1C and everybody whining about not having a 1C, that all of a sudden we have a legitimate team groomed/"drafted" 1C named Tyler Bozak? ...just sayin...

It should be. Nash is by far Columbus' best player. They don't have a lot else going for them right now. Trading your best player for other teams expendable pieces doesn't bring them any closer to being a contender. Deals like this are supposed to be such that your return should have the potential to replace what you gave away. If NYR doesn't want to give away any young player who could one day develop into a Nash, then what entitles them to Nash himself?

Nash's price should be high, yes. But when you start asking for other teams YOUNGER and possibly BETTER players down the road than Nash as part of a package, you're just basically asking to keep Nash.
