Is anyone on here willing to admit that Burke loves Americans? This is a Canadian sport, and I just would like him to get more Canadians on this team! Is that really a bad thing? - Pillar
Many countries enjoy the sport of hockey, I dont care where they're from as long as they win and play hard. |

Ok well- I am going to bed-nobody in here knows anything bout hockey any hoo.....bunch of drones that eat the crap this team feeds them....worst part about it is I am probably the only season ticket hold posting on here. My opinion actually means something when I am dropping almost 10 grand on my tickets! - Pillar
No it doesn't. There's another stooge behind you waiting to drop his 10 grand.
On another note, how can someone go to so many hockey games and have no understanding of what's going on? |

I don't like the idea of humouring you... but Biggs was the youngest player on that team. Some NCAA teams want guys to pay their dues in lesser roles before giving them bigger roles. |

There are more Canadians on the Roster than Americans. More Canadians in the system than Americans.
Canadian =/= better team. - Viktory
Doesnt mean much if they are career AHLers. |

Not convinced that JVR will pan out as a centre.
Not trying to prop up Bozak's ego or anything but he does have the hands needed to play on a line with Kessel and Loops.
What that line needs isn't size, it just needs a guy who can consistently find them.
Kessel and Loops were both point a game last year, and just need Bozak to continue to develop and figure things out.
as the roster stands now:
Kessel Bozak Loops
JVR Grabs Mac
Kulemin Mcclement Frattin
Brown Steckel Lombardi
And that's not considering the very very real possiblity that at least one of Ashton, Kadri(finally!) or Colborne will earn a spot out of camp.
I simply find it hard to imagine BB doesn't clear a body out of the roster, perhaps two, as there's just too many guys who are just so freaking amazing at the game of hockey we don't know where to fit them on our roster |

Doesn't mean much when people use nationality to poll players talent level.
The point is Burke, as an American, tends to know about American Hockey (and Players), and will most likely side with what he knows works, than what he doesn't know works.

yea, team's not going for the cup any time soon, so letting Bozak develop isn't a terrible idea. |

Let's hope he's a better center than Ville Leino. |

I really would love to see the young kids like Ashton and Kadri get a chance to show their stuff next year. I was also happy to see that Colborne's decline in point production was explainable as he did have a wrist injury. It at the very least gives you an encouraging sign of progress.
Also, with us getting two Dmen in this draft, Reilly, and Finn, who I think will turn out to be a real steal, is it not time to consider that Percy be an important prospect chip moved if we do ever get something resembling a good trade for a goalie or centre? |
