One quality team should be enough for both sides. Two games seems more like a money grab.

Where is Salming? That guy looks like he could still play.

- Two_For_Truth

I can't imagine why anyone would want to attend one of these things. The hockey is just terrible, and the last thing I want to be reminded of is how old my childhood heroes are.

I also wonder how they are going to sell seats for two games - the Alumni game(s) wasn't part of the package they made you take.

If you bought tix to the Winter Classic, you were forced to buy either tix to the OHL or AHL game at Tiger Stadium.

I'm guessing a lot of Leafs from those late 90's runs will come onto the team and people will be like "man you got some terrible alumni", but whatevs.

Guys like Domi and such.

Will Lindros, Leech and Francis be playing???

No money grab. One ticket gets you into both, apparently.

Salming will probably (hopefully?) be involved. Still got lots of time.

And Gary Roberts. Gotta have Roberts.

so yeah..

i saw this Jimmy T the other day you speak of, what a real treat that guy is lol

he ended his posts by saying he will never be back. classic.

- big_dion

He had it on good authority that Burke has already concluded a deal for Getzlaf. Can't remember what he was waiting on, but Jimmy T assured me he knew for sure it was done.

NHL Doctor was another special Leafs fan. It's a miracle I wasn't banned after I got into a tussle with that guy.

I was a very bad little boy.

Check out the Reposado on Ossington one slow night and they'll give the low down on everything tequila.

It takes a bit to appreciate (and forget those university days of slamming cheap cuervo with salt) but it's worth it.

Ken Linseman will suit up for the blue and white.

I'm pretty happy about that one.

So is Jean-Paul Parise.

It's part of the apology for Zach not signing with the Leafs.

Pretty sure NHL Doctor is a habs fan. I know I saw him posting on this site before as a fan of another team.

It doesn't excuse his ignorance, but honestly, how many people on this site are old enough to remember seeing him play?

He retired 4 years before I was born

Even someone born in the late 70's would have little recollection of his time in the NHL.
