I have a 10...but haven't tried any yet. Still love the Jameson. Might go to the distillery this summer while I'm in Ireland.

I also have a bottle of Midelton (made by the same people that make Jameson). Apparently it's won a bunch of awards for being the best whiskey produced in Ireland and it's numbered and signed by the master distiller. It's like $200 I think.

Haven't opened it yet though, waiting for a special occasion (i.e. birth of a child, death of a family member, Leafs winning Cup, Jets winning Superbowl, etc.)

I ruined my whiskey future when I was 18 I down 2 Mickies of Weisers straight, in about 15 minutes, blacked out, had severe alcohol poisoning and now I puke everytime I take a sip of it...

The Flames have had to rebuild for years, but keep delying the inevitable. Impossible to rebuild when you sign players like Wideman to a 5 year 26M contract

Wideman was signed to give Feaster the flexibility to move Jbo who wasnt working very well for the team. Jbo makes over 1M more than Wideman and plays a similar game, although Jbo can skate much better.

Either way, if they move Bouwmeester the Wideman signing makes a ton of sense.

Lagavulin is my fav for expensive but not stupid expensive. Actually like it better than the Johnny Blue - just feels like hot butter going down...

$125 at LCBO. sadly they don't have it at duty free.

I kinda did the same thing with Vodka. Not a huge fan of scotch but I'll drink it. I'm just starting to drink Gin, it's taking some getting used to though. Anyone have a good Gin drink receipe? I hate tonic water so I think that's been the main reason I don't like it. Maybe try Gin and sprite or something? I dunno.

Doan's a winger, and won't sign in Toronto, so let's put that to bed right now. The only reason he will go anywhere else other than Phoenix is to win a championship (and to ensure he doesn't end up in Quebec ) , and he's 35, not happening in Toronto

A friend of mine is a big scotch fan, I bought him a bottle of Lag for his birthday and he gave me some. tasted like burnt peat to me. I thought it was pretty gross, though it was a bad batch or something, but he loved it.

So, yeah, whiskey for me.

Gin + Sprite works man, Gin + Juice lol just like the song... and... just a good Gin is good enough to sip on by itself.

Same thing. I can't handle liquor. Only Sambuca (not really Liquor), which is terrile throwing up.
Only Lager and Cider for this belly. Stella,Bud Lite, Carlsberg,Becks,Fosters, etc.
GF loves whisky. When we both drink she pounds back the whisky and i get all, i'm the man of the house give me some. I spend the next day on the couch watching 6 hours of Jays in 30, while she practices for her marathon and comes home all smug.

Weird thing is that the mixed drinks (i.e. tonic water, club soda, etc.) have been gross. But I made gin martini (gin and splash of vermouth) and actually liked it a lot. Might just drink more martinis. I love a good manhattan: whiskey, vermouth, bitters. Done.
