You guys know I love the Leafs, but I just don't see Burke doing anything rash...Here's my list in order of possible transactions:

1. Trade for Lu: This one will happen only if Burke gets him on the cheap
2. Trade for Getzlaf: Not gonna happen, too expensive and costly
3. Semin: Why?
4. Doan: Bidding war, not gonna happen

Backstrum I thought someone mentioned has 1 year left at 6mil. Leafs should trade for him try him out for next year and if he does well extend him.

They won't trade their All-Star goalie and place their playoff stakes on a 26 year old backup with injury issues and a 22 year old who still needs time to develop.

You don't think signing Semin to a short term deal would be smart? He most likely will work hard, because he wants to prove himself for a long term deal. I think whoever sings him short hits a homerun, whoever extends him after that is in for a disappointment

I might be wrong but he's now considered the backup right, didn't they sign their other goalie to a big contract? Maybe he could be got for a decent but not huge trade. It clears 6mill from Wilds tight cap. maybe a roster player and prospect gets him.

Ever have Rickorderlig Elderflower (Ok I know that one sounds extra gay)? Pretty good, has a unique taste. Perry Pear Cider is pretty good too.

Flames need to have a fire sale, and I'd say yes, take Kipper until the Leafs can find a younger Starting goalie or Reimer shows hes got the berrys. Trading for him thought might break the bank.
