For what it's worth, Darren Dreger tweeted that according to NHL sources Doan has narrowed it down to the Leafs and Pens. I would normally write this off as just another off the wall rumor but it is coming from a reputable TSN insider. Who knows, we'll see.

Update: Ek has not confimred or denied that the Wild have made any contact offers or shown any interest for that matter in Shane Doan. And like Philly, have not yet made any offers... But, it's widely assumed that the Wild organization and the Flyers are indeed NHL franchises and Doan is currently an NHL player... End update.

Doan is still waiting to see what will happen with his team, and then looking at contracts in a few days... Reportedly he wants to stay West, and would like to stay close to Arizona (for his family) if the deal is right. As well as a championship team. Also he, and everyone else, has said that Game 5 of the WCF isn't anything, so LA is on his list of teams he would like to play for.

If that means he signs in LA or not, who knows.
