What do you guys think it would take from the Bruins to land either Rick Nash or Bobby Ryan? Not saying I want them, just curious.

Is ryan even THAT much better than Horton? I want to see how Ryan would do not playing with Getzlaf and Perry... kind of like how Penner did without them.

I think Ryan is a 25-30 goal guy... 60 points... doesn't deserve the world.

He probably will though.... whoever overpays for Nash (NYR) and whoever overpays for Ryan (Philly) they will end up regretting it.

If they wanted a forward prospect from the Bruins it'd be spooner, knight, or khochlachev. Hamilton I agree with you, but no way Hamilton and Krejci together. Let alone Hamilton, Krejci, a first, and another prospect. That's like asking for Kreider and McDonaugh, which Howson isn't even doing. But I do agree with you that Hamilton is a necessary piece, jeez I'd hate to see that. I think whoever gets Luongo or Nash are going to be disappointed when they realize what they gave up for what they got.

A team can exceed the cap during the offseason.

Plus we can trade Ballard and a bag of magic beans to Calgary to liberate his $4.2 mil cap hit.
