So on Louongo ive read that toronto had the best offer on the table for lou (god i hope not  ) so it was also posted somewhere that florida i think got sick of waiting and gave a 48 hr notice that if van didnt make up their mind then they were gona back out of it,that was 3 days ago i think..So any chance us toronto fans luck out and lou goes to the windy city in the next 48 hrs?..  |

For what it's worth, Darren Dreger tweeted that according to NHL sources Doan has narrowed it down to the Leafs and Pens. I would normally write this off as just another off the wall rumor but it is coming from a reputable TSN insider. Who knows, we'll see.

I think there is a very good chance that the Leafs will acquire Luongo. Burkie is pretending to be not interested in order to pay the smallest price possible.

Also, on the Shane Doan front, a Flyers source has told me that the club has had talks with the Doan camp to gauge interest but has not YET made a formal offer.
Which means they're one of about 15 teams to have done so.....
