Crosby is a bit stockier, but yeah they're close. I think Seguin is a threat either way. His shot is developing and his passing is already deadly. Their stretch passing was key to their cup. I think he fits that bill. If he develops slightly more offensively he will be a great at wing, but the scoring doesn't have to be premium yet. I say he goes to center and stays there, unless Caron or another prospect can push him over. Tough call, but a good problem to have - HopintheCordoba
So what's your concern about the Pens. Let's share the wealth of the convo to other teams
I'm confused why, with stories like this one where Doan's agent clearly indicates his interest in a specific team, why the rumor chart does not include the team.

Well Caron is a wing so he isn't a threat to steal his center job. It's just that we have Krejci and Bergeron centers our 1a and 1b lines. You can't move one of them to wing, can't put either on third line, can't have Seguin center the third line and be demoted. It is a good problem to have, but barring injury there is no way to figure out if Seguin can play center. If he could we would be able to unload a center for a wing that can score, because although we don't very much need additional scoring on 5v5, we damn well need it on the PP. Then again the problem with the PP is that it is too one demensional. Pass back to Chara, blast, maybe tip, see what happens. But I do want to see Seguin at center. He'll continue to bulk up as well, still only 20 - celata29
With Hamilton probably cracking your roster he may get some real chances on PP because his offensive ability. There are alternatives to trading, we managed to get James Neal and Matt Niskanen for something we had a lot of, a defenseman. Dallas took the Goligoski bait, and he fits them, but Neal and Niskanen both have large roles. Deals like that will continue to happen and Chiarelli is a GM that can make them. The Bruins will be fine

Defense. Pure and simple. Our scoring was tops in the NHL and Fleury was ridiculously good. But, he was overworked because Brent Johnson was injured and didn't play up to standards. Shero remedied that by trading a 7th for Vokoun and signing him for 2 years. I like our newest drafted defensive players: Maata and Pouliot as well as the ones we got in trades: Dumoulin and Ruopp. I am NOT concerned with getting a top forward but we have 11.5 in cap space so Semin or Doan would both make sense, but they are NOT necessary. We need to get the right defensive pairings and keep them in place. We have a lot of guys to look at in that respect. Defense can be trade bait for a guy like Yandle(almost happened at draft) or some other DFD or we can stick in system. Morrow and Depres most likely play in NHL this season.

If you guys get yandle, welcome lord stanley back. He is the real deal
They really want a center and Chiarelli loves Yandle though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a Krejci Yandle deal, especially because the Yotes are looking for a center. You guys got great return in that Staal deal. Those D prospects will help out a lot on the back end. what are the plans for Sutter?

Ha, oh man, I hate the favorite game...I'm not sure about that. I like Yandle a lot and I know Shero wanted to get him, but theyre done talking now from what I heard.
As far as I know, Sutter will take over as the 3rd line center where Staal was. He is okay with doing that, and he said he enjoys the matchup game against teams top lines. He is a VERY good breakout player. He has a real nose for loose pucks and gets good short hand opportunities. I think that will make his transition to the PP/PK easier. Dumoulin(Boston College)---don't quote me---is being compared to Yandle/Weber. Interesting guy that is excited to be here. I love giving guys opportunities. Last year it was J. Vitale, this year I want to see

bruins fans seem to offer krejci in every deal... - sensnucksnocups
Well we need to unload a center, that is assuming Seguin can play center at this level. Obviously we have to see if that's the case before making the trade. I'd rather move Krejci than Bergeron anyday.
Edit: I'd also rather move Lucic than Krejci, but the Yotes want a center and the Bruins love puckmoving dman, so I was just saying the pieces align quite nicely.

He does put up about 70 points a year though. - celata29
He produces, yeah and Bergeron isn't going anywhere. He's a heart and soul guy that does everything right and he's an annual Selke canidate. Krejci, if any center from the B's would be dealt. Who knows? Maybe they can scrape a deal with prospects for a decent winger like I mentioned before. Seguin will play center very soon. You heard it here first

Hey, I was saying earlier I said Seguin could play center, just that others think it's not as sure. Don't take credit, because I said it first

why on earth would you want to move lucic over krejci?
