He just said he's considering trading future talent for a star now. They're busy and trying to make something happen. Him making a run at Doan tells me he already has trades in the works.

Was it good when they convinced Regher to come to Buffalo? It may not have worked out so well, but at the time, everyone was impressed.

Was it good when they traded for the rights to Ehrhoff and got him to sign here? I think that one worked out.

I'm not dwelling, I've never been a huge darcy hater like most but i criticized a lot, but i'm certainly starting to think he had many plans in the past at deadlines to push for the cup or what have you that were probably just denied.

As much hate Regier gets (which is well deserved), he has made plenty of shrewd moves. Sure this next one might look like they gave up too much, but I think I trust him to make the right decision for what is best for the team.....now.

Agreed.....just listened to it and have found that the last few interviews have been the most confident I've heard Darcy ever. If they can find a suitable dance partner Ott won't be the last piece of the makeover this summer.

...was thinking the same that the next move be it a big one, we may be overpaying a bit. But will be for something worthwhile. Gotta give to get. I'm all for movin some prospects to grab some elite talent.
