I honestly think the team is better without them. Adding Ott is just a plus.

I totally agree. Boyes is old and slow and was only good in the shootout's and Roy overpassed too much and took too many stupid penalities. I'm so glad both are gone. I'm so sick of people talking about how much they will miss Roy. I highly doubt it. He needed to go and Ott will make people forget about Roy anyway.

I met Derek Roy when he was out here in Las Vegas for Bruckheimer tournament and he seems smaller than 5'9".

Yes, he indeed did say that. As well as showed lots of interest in Doan with respect to the PHX situation. When Doan will make a decision, Darcy will make him an offer.

I could see him moving a couple of guys for a centerman. We have too many D-man right now and one or two need to be moved.

I'll take work ethic and muscle over the skill factor lost in Derek Roy and Boyes any day. Foligno and Ott are prime examples of hard work.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about Derek Roy. The guy had more than enough time to be the #1 center on this team and couldn't do it. Yes the guy is skilled when he wants to play hard but he's too small and over passes way too much.

Agreed.. we have WAY too many defensemen.

Myers, Ehrhoff, Regehr, Leopold, Weber, Sekera, Pardy, McNabb, Brennan, McCabe, Pysyk, Leduc, Feinhage (spell check? but he's vocal presence and solid at-home play interested me)..

They all look pretty solid.
