Al i haven't looked at the list, but anyone at the camp with a chance to make the big squad?

I would think Saad is already pencilled in as #2 LW

I love Tallon and think he did a ton to bring this city a cup, but I dont understand what you are saying here. His big move in Florida this offseason has been George Parros. WOW REALLY George Parros (the stache).

In Chicago his big splashes were Campbell, which was pretty much universally despised as an overpay and (female dog'ed) about constantly and Huet which was simply a brutal overpay.

What Tallon was good at was building through the draft and being patient with your team. Something sorely lacking on this board at times.

You are correct but he is a first round pick and should be dominant or at the very least noticeble against this type of competition.
- Al

OK no argument here. But when someone says hes doing well do we really need to add the " well its not in the NHL yet?" portion in the reply. Its prospect camp none of these players are really going to do well against NHL'ers on ANY team minus maybe the top 2 or 3 picks.

So let me guess last 10 pages or so.... Bowman sucks, Rocky needs to clean house, the Hawks have no hope, Bowman sucks, the Crawford debate, the trade Kane debate, Bowman Sucks, Bowman Sucks, and why have the Hawks not made any moves..

About right?

Ugh...come on. There is no defending this offseason. It's been horrible and Brookbank is not the missing piece.

Who wants Dale Tallon back? He might be sloppy with paperwork but he knows how to pull the trigger on a deal!
- katar525

I actually wouldn't go that far as to bring him back. Sure he would actually go through with one of these deals, given that the Hawks actually had one on the table. But it looks like he's having trouble of his own making some splashes this offseason in FLA. Read Spiegel's blog, it looks like he's having the same trouble that Bowman is (to a higher degree).

Well said!

And I guess Bowman won´t do trades just to make one. Or maybe he isn´t getting the return he wants or it wouldn´t make this team any better? We don´t know what´s going on and there is enough offseason left to do moves. It doesn´t matter if its july, august or septemper. Be patient!

Agreed. Last trade deadline sucked , this off season so far sucks, Stan is hovering at a c-/ D+ right now.

But Ill agree to that its not over yet. If Stan makes a good trade or signs useful pieces then the Hawks GM will get some love.

No kidding. People need to lighten up and pull the potato chips out of their bumhole.

Certainly doing more than our other #1s so far.

More then that....Patrick Sharp for Matt Ellison...Kris Versteeg for Brandon Bochenski. Signed Hossa. Signed Madden.

What has Bowman done his offseason? Brookbank? really? THE Brookbank who couldn't consistently stay in a non playoff team's lineup?

There is no defending this offseason so far. Trade targets, ufas are all going by and Bowman is trying to convince his sheep that the same team from last year can be better. Uhhh....no.

Im pretty sure this was a Bowman move. We've discussed this numerous times on this site and most including the writers come to the same conclusion.

July 9th Hossa was signed and July 14th Tallon was demoted. Although technically Tallon was the GM; it was in title only as he lost his job a couple days later.

Are we playing the obscure Blackhawk game again? How about PETRI KONTIOLA?
- 1goalLordStanley

Igor Radulov, Matt Keith, Adam Munro, Kent Huskins, Aleksey Zotkin, Matt Ellison , Lasse Kukkonen, Mike Brodeur...

Just to name a few "undesirables".

Im not defending the offseason but Tallons offseason has been Parros and Keaton Ellerby.

And yes the moves you are talking about were trades and were good ones at that. I believe sharp was at the trade deadline and Im not sure about steeger.

I haven't seen McNeil or K Hayes look noticeable today or last year.. Plus. Teuvo is 17.. Just impressed with what I have seen. Nothing more.
