Hey guys, I see that several teams are interested in Shane Doan's services. I come from Montreal and they have showed interest in Shane Doan aswell (which is not mentioned anywhere in your list of teams).

RDS (French version of TSN) has confirmed that Doan's agent has confirmed Marc Bergevin's interest in Doan and that Doan would also be interested in joining the Canadiens.

However it is believed the same speach as been said to other interested teams.

Sure Francis and Doan have some similarities throughout there careers, like one being stuck on Hartford and the other in Phoenix.

However one huge diference is that in 1990 Frances was a 27 year old center just entering his prime, and in 2012 Doan is 35 year old power forward entering the twilight of his career.

can anyone recall if Francis was a "Domino"? because if he was, that's just one more thing they are the same at... because at this point, Doan is clearly a "Domino". once he decides what he is doing, Nash, Luongo, Ryan and Getzlaf are sure to be traded within minutes.

Frances was traded to Pitts at the deadline, he wasn't a UFA and it wasn't during the offseason. No Domino for anything. Ek is just wrong comparing the 2. Nothing better to write about.
