I'd take that with a grain of salt. Neal is beating Toews

I like Yandle. He is worth a top 10 draft pick any day. I also like Doan but at 35 is he better than a healthy Hemsky? He is better than the Hemsky we had the last 3 years but a healthy one? It is a nice dream. I think Yandle is doable but I also think ST is an idiot.

Lol hemsky isn't worth much, if Phoenix is gonna trade yandle they'll want a good return that probably starts with a dman. Don't think he's even moved, but if he is it will be for more then hemsky and some throw ins.
- Sabres30

Why would it start with a dman? Theyre deep on defence and defensive prospects. But bare up front. Especially without whitney and doan.

The entire reason the 'rumour' of dealing a star defenceman even started was to bolster the forward core.
Deal from a position of strength to help a weakness. Make sense?

And prv isnt a throw in, nor is next years first

Have a clue what you're talking about before u chirp.

Yeah how is a first round pick a throw in. Despite what you think of Pajarvii (also a first round pick). I know we don't have the amazing prospects that Buffalo does. I see a bright future for your team in a couple of years.

I know. That's what I did when I realized you could be the Uncle to my child. At least he wouldn't get his head damaged on his way out though.

It's interesting because the league has probably lost so much on that team they could recover the costs if they let them fold and then go the expansion route to get back to 30 teams.

Dispersal draft and we get Yandle.

Done.

- Salvo

Let's say that Phoenix did fold, and they had a dispersal draft. Using the finishing order last year as the draft order(CBJ first). Assuming OEL goes first, am I the only one who would consider taking Gormely 2nd?

That IS my sister.

I have two sisters. One is nice, the other is the worst person in the world... If you wish to picture the mean one, picture a less attractive, b1tchier version of Rosie O'Donnell.

Ya interesting - goes with with the whole timeline better then Yandle but at the same time it's great to have excellent peak to veteran D-man with talent back there while the forwards are still prematurely eberlating.

Do you know if there is a dispersal draft whether it actually goes by last years standings or is it a lottery separate for that?

I don't think they will use the same order. I think we'll see something similar to the lottery that was held when PIT got Crosby. I don't take Gormley 2nd though. I probably take Hanzal before him too.
