He might be younger than Doan, but Doan could very well last longer. He'd be an interesting piece, but I think it would be too rich for our blood, especially considering he only has one year left.

All these bloody concussion cases...tough call man - even tougher with next year's 1st in that deal but you'd have to think that gets it done if in fact they want to dump him.

I wanted to take a flyer on Latendresse - when healthy he is EXACTLY what this team needs in the top six but he was a UFA and we didn't have to give up assets on that risk.

I have to think if he goes long-term he's going to get 4-5 years around 4-5mil a year.

I do however think we could see him just take a one year deal looking for a cup.

Well, I was trying to temper and hush the good luck a bit - didn't want to piss of the gods and such but yeah we'll pretty much win the dispersal draft and take OEL.

You know it's funny - even though the team could make that money back through expansion fees I bet they would just relocate; seems like better PR but I'm not sure.
