I've been listening to too much Smiley Smile lately..

It's been such a crappy offseason for us...but I see our young talent and I see our veterans and I feel better...and after seeing the wild press conference it really seems like Zach is unhappy in Minnesota...but the past is the past...Lou will make a move for a top 6 forward either this offseason or at trade deadline...and with what we have now I still see a playoff berth in our future...larsson is gonna be much better this year...so is henrique...kovy will be off the charts especially if he gets the C...we still have deboer runnin the ship...everything's alright

the rangers will be good as long as they manage their team properly. They have a lot of young guys who need to get paid...one or two bad contracts and they will have a hard time finding the complimentary pieces....

In two years they're not going to be able to keep everyone. That defense is vastly underpaid. Hagelin, Stepan will need new contracts and some team is going to throw gobs of money at McDonagh. Sauer and Bickel will be up too, but they are replaceable. Del Zotto is currently an RFA.

It happened to Ottawa and Buffalo this past decade. Amazing teams that just in the end couldn't afford everyone.
