Interesting fact...
Drew Stafford had the 2nd most HITS on the team (102) as a forward behind Patrick Kaleta and 4th most on the team...
Weber was 3rd on the team a 123 hits in only 51 games while Kaleta had 139 in 63 games.
Regehr led the team with 172 hits in 76 games. - JVince11
This proves how soft of a team we were. Depressing lol

I remember you saying the same about Crosby recruiting Parise.. - JVince11
I mentioned it as a rebuttal to the silly Stafford Parise stuff. I found both points moronic.
Good for him. Marcus Foligno needs to be Marcus Foligno, not his dad. - buffalofan19

In an interview with Foligno he stated he didn;t want to wear #17 and that he liked 82 - J03Y
thats interesting because all of his junior career he wore 17.. and for Rochester he wore 71..
and after he scores goals.. he does the "Foligno leap"

Looks like Suter and Parise were better BFFs!! haha
I really do wonder how much those 2 guys will transform Minny this year..
I don't think they can win the division with Vancouver there.. but I think that Colorado and Minny will battle for 2nd.. and a 7th or 8th seed.

Thats what it looks like..
I think that Kevin Porter will be given a try out... he did have 126 hits in 74 games in '11...
he would have a purpose as a checking center...
I think it was clear that Adam is now a winger.. that is what he played every game that he was in Rochester last year.

I can see mcmuscle going down and porter sticking on the 4th line, then cody comes up when kaleta gets dinged up

Wait so now we convert centers to wingers??? - BuffaJoe
Thats what their coach did last year down there...
Apparently Varone, Szczchura were better than Adam.

I will say I'm really happy with the AHL and bottom 6 signings all around. With some of the kids making the jump, we should have plenty of players with actual NHL experience to fill in for injuries.
I'm still trying to get rid of the feeling of panic now that I found out Ott isn't really a center.

correct if im not mistaken the first was a tip in he wasnt sure if he got it. I think nick also did the leap just on the first goal. I thought they would both keep #71.

I think McCormick is better suited as a wing IMO.
he played all 82 games in 10-11 and had good stats.
McM - Porter - Kaleta
Tropp, Gerbe, and Scott will battle for that final roster spot.
Gerbe still has a 2-way deal i believe.

yes... Foligno wasn't sure if he was going to get credit for the goal so he didn't do the leap..
so his next goal against the Avs he did the leap.

nope...
grigorenko should be looked at as a top-six, imo...if he's not quite there yet, it's back to junior to work with roy for one more year
