It is going to be weird to see actual good players where numbers 9 and 19 this season...
strange happenings in Buffalo!
Is Grigs still wanting to wear 89? - JVince11
Grigs came out and said that it wouldn't be right if he wore 89 because of Mogilny. Although I think it would be pretty cool.

I believe he is wearing #27 at rookie camp today and Girgs wearing #28.
Not sure if those are their final numbers or not.

To be honest, I think they'll run with Hodgson, Ennis, and Ott as the top 3 at least to start the season. It makes little sense to trade Hodgson without giving him a fair chance to prove himself, and we brought him in to be in the top 6. Ennis has the most value right now, and is the most likely to be moved, but I can't see them trading him just yet, because of how well the staff-enzo-foligno line did. Ott is obviously not going anywhere.
I think if we make any move for a bonafide #1C, it will be at or just before the deadline, or next season.
Unless we get a complete steal from someone, those are our top 3, and Ennis is the only one who has a really REALLY high trade risk. - BuffaJoe
Ott doesn't play center. He takes draws, yes. Putting Ott at center would be like putting Leino at center. |

Right. I believe Ott said that 90% of the time he has played wing. Or maybe I confused him with someone else. But anway, Lindy needs to stop trying to convert wingers to centers. Let these guys play the position they are best at. |

I really hope they allow Foligno and McNabb to change their numbers...
Foligno needs to be 71 because they won't give him 17 I'm assuming..
I think McNabb likes to wear #5 which is open for us but he just wears 82.
Girgs is wearing 28... interesting.. new goose. |

Ott wins draws and then switches with a more playmaking type player who plays center ice..
who exactly that would be on our team... IDK.. we don't really have a great playmaking pass first winger to put there.. Parenteau would have been nice. |

Interesting fact...
Drew Stafford had the 2nd most HITS on the team (102) as a forward behind Patrick Kaleta and 4th most on the team...
Weber was 3rd on the team a 123 hits in only 51 games while Kaleta had 139 in 63 games.
Regehr led the team with 172 hits in 76 games. |

Agreed. This changes my opinion on the trade quite a bit. I'm glad to get the grit, but holy poop, if Darcy can't pull something off, we are pretty (frank)ed. |

Exactly. I loved the trade for Ott based on the assumption that another move or two would be made at Center. If this is all thats done this off season then the trade doesn't look as good. However, I love Ott!

Word on the street is LW. As a commentor mentioned above, Lindy doesn't seem to like to leave well-enough alone. So Ott will probably see time at D and maybe the point on the powerplay.
