That comment is the epitome of what goes on in the Sabres area's at HB and really thoughout much of the Sabres fanbase.

She's techincally right. He only produced 35 points that year, even though he was injured. Therefore, not much offense. Then 44 points the year after.

She's not bashing Roy. She was right.

He had 35 points in 35 games (10G 25A). No one else through 35 games, was even close to that. Since he got injured you cant discredit him for the rest of that season as saying "he didnt provide offense" because he was the leading scorer, by far through the 35 games before he got injured. He was pretty much the only offense we had going before then.

Last season was his only down year. He wasnt that good last year. A lot of that had to do with battling injury. You guys are so quick to defend other players on the team who battle injury and say "oh well if he was healthy he would be doing ______" but when it comes to Roy that argument goes out the window.
