Today is the July 9th date that Doan put out there. I havent paid attention to the Glendale stuff, I know that they were trying to push the date back of whatever decision was supposed to come today, not sure if that was successful.

Grigorenko is one thing as he was a top 4 skater in the draft...

but Girgensons making the team!?!?

If grigorenko makes the team, he gets top line minutes with vanek and pommer. Maybe not right away, but eventually he moves up. He is a playmaker(said so himself), and a better skater than hodgson. who the hell is going to score if he plays on the 3rd line?

I think the only way we get full value from Hodgson is if we keep him with the same linemates all year round... whoever that might be..

if Grigs makes the team i think he atleast deserves to be paired with a top winger on this team...

I still wish we could trade for another top 6 winger (cough Stewart cough) because Ott/Leino would not be right...

maybe if we broke up Pommer and Vanek from the same line??

?? I hate Leino there but he would have to be the choice.. unless you put Vanek at RW and move Ott up to 1LW but at either of them getting top line minutes..
