I'd be hard pressed to find a better fit.
Big, nasty, playmaking centre.
Not the fleetest of foot, but with Kessel on his wing, he just needs to distribute pucks and make some room.

Almost anyone can be available at the right price. Getz can be had can see the ducks go in another direction after this season. He can also use a change of scenery

Not failing to see Getz could help a ton, but he is not available right now, If he does become available it would be a dogfight between many teams to try and pry him away.

He may have been available during a slump but thats water under the bridge atm, if they start slow I am sure all the talks come back.

I'm not completely convinced that Kessel would fit well.

I would sooner keep Kessel with Bozak and Loops. They put up at a point a game as is, so see if Getz could find chemistry with JVR and Frattin/Kadri. Then you have yourself a pretty decent 2 line punch

The way people are talking, Getz is already on the team. Its crazy what a summer of no hockey can do to some people.
