Wombat seems to think the Ducks offer of Getzlaf is for Franson, MacArthur, & and Kulemin. If that was the case, that deal would be already done. He think's Burke doesn't want to trade both Mac & Kulemin. With Kadri, Frattin, JVR, and even Lombardi. I'm sure we will be fine.

I'm for patience, and think we should have been a little more patient the past couple years instead of this mediocrity we've had.

I think the team is headed in the right direction. They shouldn't do anything foolish to rush the process. Our depth is better than it's ever been in the last two decades.

For two, giving up a top prospect along with two of our premier offensive players isn't going to make this team better. Filling a hole by creating two more.

If Murray somehow had drugs that day and accepted the deal, it would handicap this team. Trading a top prospect along with two of your best offensive players isn't going to make us a playoff team.

Grabovski, colborne, percy for Getzlaf.
Either sign Shane Doan or trade Mac and whatever for some "snarl" to play on the second line.

I would try to trade Lupul to Minny for Backstrom even if we get a hole at foward we need a potent goalie for sure
