I'd give a very slight edge to Orr as well.. It's a tougher call than most think tho

Yeah I'm not sure why there was any need to say anything. The time in the pressbox was with Wilson, and he he seemed to do very well with Carlyle.

It's true, the Leafs do have plenty of wingers and secondary scoring. They need top scoring, and preferably a centre not a winger (Getzlaf). I'm assuming this is the view that Brady has. He is wrong because the Leafs desperately need leadership, heart, and size up front. Doan fits.

Komisarek (D)

So either Franson or Gardiner develop into more complete defensemen or Komisarek finds his game and works his way onto the roster and/or Franson gets traded.

I would think the former is more likely and fits in line with what we're doing as an organization by keeping youth and developing them.

Kessel gets paid like a superstar. I'm not a huge fan of Lupul's character but he's an excellent setup man. I think Nash would have complimented the leafs nicely (not thinking of the cost it would take to get him). But if Lu is a salary dump (according to some) then Nash would have to be the same.
I think the leafs need a bonafide canadian star. It's been awhile. Nash fits that role.
