Leads filed for arbitration on kulemin, they didn't with franson
While I'm not the biggest franson fan I still find that a bit odd |

How long are we giving JVR before he asks for a trade? |

Greg Brady @bradyfan590
Agree with all those suggesting it, there is no need for the Leafs to even consider Shane Doan, fills absolutely no need whatsoever.
Commence hating. |

Don't like his international resume? - bloatedmosquito
I'm from London.. He didn't lead the knights to anything and he didn't lead the jackets to anything either.. He thrives when surrounded with other top tier players certainly, but I would say he's the best complimentary player out there before I'd call him a franchise piece.
I just don't think the leafs have the right pieces to get all they can out of him.. Put him with another bonafide superstar and he'll explode |

He also said that there would be no drawback to the Leafs signing Huet to a 1 year deal..... I like Greg, but sometimes he makes no sense |

SO does that mean we lose Franson? That would suck, I thought he did real well last year. |

Maybe they feel that there's still negotiating room, a gesture of goodwill maybe? Guess they're not concerned about offer sheets (or maybe they want one :lol .
I wouldn't want to see Franson go though, not unless something's coming back. His advanced stats were pretty solid last year; team was definitely better when he was on the ice. |

Wayne Gretzky couldn't lead the Jackets to anything at this point |

No, it just means that he sits out until he signs a deal.
Rumor has it that they are close to a 2 year deal anyway. He should be signed tommorow, if i had to guess |

He's more than young enough to keep yet.. See what Carlyle can do with him defensively |

Probably both. I think he is good, could be a 50 goal scorer with Sidney as his center. That being said, he is not top 20 in the NHL. |

A 20 year old Gretzky would have free agents flocking there for next to nothing tho |
