This article is an exact rehashing of Terry Koshan's (himself an awful reporter) article from the other day in the T.O Sun.


What was stupid about that article was that it talks about what to do with players the Leafs obviously have no intention of bringing back. Seriously, is there one intelligent person out there who believes that Lombardi is every going to play for the Leafs again?

Have some patiences. Its a long summer and this "situation" is going to resolve itself. On top of which, why does it take a statement from the head coach for people to think they would try their shiny new player/prospect/reclaimation project at centre when anyone with a brain already knew this?

Man, I wish something would happen already. Even if the Leafs aren't directly involved just something worth talking about. A Luongo trade would be great. If he comes to the Leafs we obviously have stuff to talk about it he doesn't then we still have stuff to talk about (i.e. other targets, going into season with Reimer and Scrivens, etc.).
