I can't wait for Ross to become the new Tucker and Sens fans to be irate with him forever.

It's going to happen.

Those are some big shoes to fill. 25 G 60pt, slightly (very?) deranged, sh!t-disturbing hitting machines don't come along too often.

The next CBA will have a clause limiting term. You can count on that. Whether it's 5-7-10 years long...it'll change the landscape that's for sure.
- Canadian kid

Yep agreed its getting pretty nuts now ,something has to be done. Otherwise it will be a 6 team league again with only the richest teams playing for the cup

How about the Leafs signing and taking a chance on Peter Mueller... Would probably come cheap, could have the potential to be a number one center, only 24, capable of becoming a ppg player if he could stay healthy...

JVR/Mueller/Kessel, could be a respectable young line..

- ThePresident

i would never split kessel and Lupul for Sure

But on a second line with Grabo and JVR i can see that

Its been too long for sure ,get your crap together soon so we can hopefully get some payback
- top shelf 15

Well, we both need to get our crap together because a first round match up would have to put us at 4 and 5 because I doubt either one of us is going to be 1, 2 or 3 any time soon.

Yep i hated that puke but he was good player and after those beatdowns. You could see the sens always looking to add toughness and since then we have always iced pretty tough teams .So yes lesson painfully learned

All kidding aside, if you could sign Mueller to a 1.5 million dollar contract, its worth the shot.

I'm pretty sure Connolly was worth the risk last year. Started off (frank)ing great...besides him being hurt at the beginning. Remember when Sabre fans and Leaf fans were at each other's throats with Leino and Connolly? We both had to STFU they were so bad.

He's ok, but I think he's 40g year was an anomaly. Besides, we don't have a #1C like JT, though for his price, i'd take him.

Yeah but Connolly has been aa disaster for the last 10 years or forever long he's been in the league. On top of the fact of paying 4.5 million for his services, isn't exactly giving him a chance, more like the other way around. Everyone knew from the get go he wasn't worth even close to that.

1. PIT
2. TBL
3. BUF
4. NYR
5. PHI
6. BOS
7. WSH
8. TOR

NJ will fall apart. OTT wont get that same production out of karlsson and they lost solid role players. TOR makes the jump but gets murdered in 4 in first round.
BOS wont be the same without thomas. BUF will put everything together.

1. LA
2. STL
3. VAN
4. MIN
5. SJ
6. COL
7. DAL
8. DET

NSH will lose both suter and weber and wont be near the same team. LA will show up to play all year. MIN will finally get everything together. COL has gotten better and will be better with a healthy year from everyone and downie all year. DAL will have a solid top 6 and vet leadership all over the place. DET will sneak in with that much younger lineup.

It was all about the term. His caphit hasn't prevented us from getting anyone in the last two years. He'll be gone next year, which "coincidentally" is when we'd need the cap space.

He did have a 33 and 43 goals season not bad playing with Andy Mc Donald still can't believe we trade him a first and alyn Mc Cauley for (frank)ing Owen Nolan

Yeah Pits would have their way with us...we might be able to grab a game or two though, thanks to Horseface LeSeive in net for Pits.
