my sources are saying that the canadiens are not talking to the hawks about toews, kane, hossa or sharp. therefore, no top 6 in chicago that the canadiens should be interested in.

This Tampa bashing is fun. Unlike SOME people....I don't see the Bolts as a top-2 team in the East. Given the improved defense, definitely better goaltending and continued development of young assets, I can definitely see the Bolts in the 5-8 range in the East with a slight chance of winning the SE if it remains weak (as I think it will).

People keep pointing to our defense as weak and yes, it has its holes, but it is far stronger than people outside of Tampa give it credit for with recent acquisitions and another year of development for Victor Hedman. As for goaltending, it's not that Lindback is going to set the world on fire and be Jesus out there, but he CANNOT possibly be worse that Roloson. That's where your improvement comes from. Bolts will make the playoffs.

Uh huh I found him...the rational Bolts fan

I completely agree. I wasn't trying to bash the bolts just the other fan's opinion that you guys are a two seed. Not trying to a db, just realistic. and a 5-8 seed is realistic. You guys have improved and I think you'll be happy with Lindback. Just the other fan was treating him like God, when he hasn't played a game for you, while saying the Bruins were a 7th or 8th seed because Thomas left, yet Rask has put up better numbers than him for 3 out of the 4 last years. He is delusional

Not disagreeing with you there. He and I have gotten into many arguments on here about the team in the past.

2nd center making 7.8 million....there's the first clue that makes him available to be traded. If his team doesn't want him anymore I'm sure he'd be open to lifting his no trade clause especially to a beautiful place like Vancouver.
Tampa barely knows they have an NHL franchise so I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be rioting in the streets if he was traded.

OK eletist Toronto snob, while rioting in the streets may be a little over the top, your comment that the city barely knows they have an NHL franchise is just as ridiculous. I chalk his comment up as being an over exuberant fan; yours is just BS coming from watching a losing team for so many freakin years.

Vinnie is not going to waive his NMC to go to Vancouver to move away from a place with no state income taxes and start paying out the wazoo higher taxes. The suggestion makes no sense and I would certainly consider the source.

I'm sure Vinny would love to pay 4 mill a year in taxes he would never waive it!

By this logic everyone would just go off to Russia. Radulov is making more than 9 M there tax free. Imagine what a good player would get there .

He is implying that every player who ever experiences florida NHL teams will never ever want to leave because of taxes alone.

Heck that's the real reason Luongo wants to leave Vancouver for Florida again. He's tired of paying taxes.

I remember hearing a story from Kyle wellwood about wild dogs eating bags of grocerys out of his hands when he was walking down the street.

Russia is the fort Mac of the hockey world.

It's for losers that can't make it anywhere else.
