I would agree with this.......I don't see any playoff hockey this season for the leafs.......however........we must have the best (frank)in golfers in the NHL next to edmonton.........maybe we can challenge for the British Open title??

2nd center making 7.8 million....there's the first clue that makes him available to be traded. If his team doesn't want him anymore I'm sure he'd be open to lifting his no trade clause especially to a beautiful place like Vancouver.
Tampa barely knows they have an NHL franchise so I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be rioting in the streets if he was traded.

That not just the Leafs problem...that's every teams problem who doesn't bother with the free agent market anymore.
Burke can't count on fleecing other GM's to improve his team anymore. The best he can hope for is even type swaps....lose something to get something not unlike the Schenn JVR trade.

Well Howson's asking price for Nash isn't exactly fair or sane even. When he asks for Jeff Skinner as a starting point from Caronlina you know his asking price is set way to high. Nobody would trade Jeff Skinner straight up for Nash let alone in a package of players to acquire Nash.

Is magnus paarvi svenson (sp?) worth anything. That guy is almost usless IMO. I think it would take way more that MPS and Gagner + to get Weber. I think the conversation would start with Eberle.
