Someone of Doan's caliber needs to play for a real winner. Hope he tries for a cup with someone. Would be a shame, but if he plays for the paycheck that is fine too. Just kind of a blah career with blah teams.

This off-season has been horribly boring. Its been like peeling a bandage off slowly.

Just make some damn trades so I can focus on the Bills.

I will be in attendance at the Sabres Developmental camp this week. Keeping my eye on any scouts from Anaheim or Colorodo. Maybe strike up some conversations. This is what I love about being in Buffalo. Beer and Chicken Wings have a way of making friends quickly.

Roy in Green an gold looks alot better than blue and gold. Off season has been a success already. The lead suck sista has been shown the door.

Darcy should play hardball if he is getting calls from the Islanders, Leopold for Tavares straight up, but will take Leopold for Grabner, seems fair, no ?

Things have been too quiet and in past years under different ownership I would have said this is par for the course for Darcy and the Sabres.

I firmly believe that Darcy has another (under the radar) deal in the works and is working hard to get one done .

One involving some NHL roster dmen (Leopold , Sekera ) and possibly a prospect at defense in either Mcnabb , Brennan or Leduc with a Luke Adam or Catenacci tossed in.

Darcy has to purge this overabundance of NHL defensemen (9) , doesnt he?

The whole market has been quiet not just here in Buffalo.

Many names are said to be on the move . Luongo , Doan , Ryan , Nash , Semin etc.

I know we personify patience here in Buffalo but if we are just a bit longer I firmly believe we will be rewarded sometime in the not so distant future. Darcy and Terry and Ted have something in the crockpot , I would bet my life on it.
